Story – The story was pretty good, I enjoyed the Chris wraparound story as well.
Humour – Obviously this episode is supposed to be funny. Some of the jokes are a bit old after 32 years, but it was nice to hear them again. I really enjoyed the running joke with Tom’s ice cream.
Moral – The moral is a commonly heard one, at least when I was a kid. I think it is still very applicable, not just with making friends.
Acting – It was interesting to hear how Will Ryan performed a character with the same voice but different personality than the (so far non-existent) Eugene.
Goofs – I don’t think there were any.
Continuity – Check-check. The only thing that could be seen as a problem is that Bill has the same voice as Odyssey’s future resident genius.
Characters – The characters seemed fresh and real. Some of Craig’s wisecracks were pretty good.
Believability – Some of those instant responses from Craig seemed a little too good to be true.
Sound design – Since there weren’t any problems, but there wasn’t anything that stood out to me as being superbly well done, I gave sound design a 99%.
Music – I like that intro. The transition music fit the mood of the scenes and was able to carry the listener from a sad scene to a humorous one.
Wow, Very nice. It’s nice to read your thoughts about Adventures in Odyssey episodes. I think it’s been something like three to five years since I had listened to Episode 2 last, but from what I can remember, “The Life of the Party” is a decent episode.
